The Consular Club raised an incredible 1.5Billion VND (approx. $60,000 USD) for Southern Vietnamese charities at its International Bazaar held at the Global City on Saturday 9 November.

The remarkable result was the culmination of a vibrant event which saw crowds of people come to shop from the 100 vendors, purchasing items and enjoying delicious cuisine from around the globe.

“On behalf of the members of the Consular Club I would like to thank the incredible sponsors, vendors, cultural performers, participating consulates and of course everyone who came and shopped,” said Milena Padula, President of the Consular Club HCMC. “Global City proved to be an ideal venue for this event, helping to ensure a great and meaningful day out for everyone that participated or contributed.”

“Achieving this result for our life-changing charities is a wonderful way to celebrate the Consular Club’s 30th anniversary here in HCMC,” says Ms Padula. “We’ve been making an impact for 30 years and if the International Charity Bazaar is anything to go by, we’re only going to continue to achieve greater outcomes for the charities we support.”
